Salivary gland tumours may be benign or malignant and are divided into:
- tumours of the major salivary glands:
- parotid
- submandibular
- sublingual
- tumours of the minor salivary glands:
- oral mucosa
- palate
- uvula
- floor of mouth
- posterior tongue
- retromolar area
- peritonsillar area
- pharynx
- larynx
- paranasal sinuses
