Aetiology
The aetiology of binocular diplopia may be:
- neurogenic - paralytic squint
- muscular:
- myasthenia gravis - diplopia usually with a ptosis
- exophthalmic ophthalmoplegia
- mechanical:
- blow out fracture
- displacement of globe by an orbital tumour
