Diabetic neuropathy
Diabetics may get various types of neuropathy including:
- a sensory diffuse polyneuropathy - the most common form
- painful diabetic neuropathy
- mononeuropathies
- autonomic neuropathy
- mononeuritis multiplex
There is evidence that tight glucose control prevents the development of diabetic neuropathy.
