Tetraparesis

Quadraparesis is a weakness of all four limbs.

It may be caused by an upper motor neurone lesion in the midbrain, pons, brainstem or upper cervical cord.

Quadraparesis may also be caused by multiple pathology affecting lower motor neurones throughout the spinal cord, or their axons in a peripheral neuropathy.
