Caffey's disease

Caffey's disease is a condition of unknown aetiology which most commonly affects long bones, usually in the first few months of life, which subsequently exacerbates and remits. There is swelling of the bones, which may be confused with osteomyelitis.

Diagnosis is by radiological appearance.

Steroids can help in the treatment of symptoms.
