Wolf-Hirshhorn syndrome
Wolf-Hirshhorn is a syndrome composed of the following features:
- growth failure
- mental retardation
- cardiac and bone malformations
It results from a deletion of chromosome 4p which includes the gene for the fibroblast growth factor receptor-3, the gene involved in achondroplasia.
