If the infusion runs too quickly:

  • check the rate setting
  • recalculate the volumes
  • check how many boosts have been given and increase the dose of the next infusion if appropriate

If the infusion runs too slowly, check:

  • the start button
  • the battery
  • the syringe driver mechanism and cannula
  • that the site is not inflamed
