Temazepam

This is a benzodiazepine anxiolytic, available in 10 and 20 mg tablets with a half-life of 8 hours.

It is the most suitable hypnotic unless daytime anxiolysis needed.

Temazepam can be used as a premedication amnesic drug before general anaesthesia.
