Clinical features
Pancreatic damage may produce a syndrome composed of:
- pancreatitis and pancreatic necrosis
- haemorrhage
- infection
- pseudocyst formation
The acute features of pancreatic rupture include:
- abdominal pain
- haemorrhage resulting in shock
- peritonitis
