Granulomatous cerebral vascultitis is a granulomatous vasculitis of the small arteries of the brain.

The presentation is varied:

  • some have a sterile meningitis
  • often it is a multifocal encephalitis disease
  • it is a rare cause of stroke

Patients may respond to immunosuppression.
