ECG changes in digoxin

Various ECG changes are associated with the use of digoxin:

ST depression and T wave inversion in V5-6 in a reversed tick pattern.

Changes are more extensive in digoxin toxicity.

Other changes that may occur:

  • bradycardia
  • prolonged PR
  • shortened QT
  • arrhythmias, especially heart block or bigemini
