Type II cryoglobulins are a polyclonal cryoglobulin in association with a monoclonal rheumatoid factor. The immunoglobulin composition may be:

  • IgM-IgG
  • IgG-IgG
  • IgA-IgG

The clinical associations with type II cryoglobulinaemia include:

  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • Sjogren's disease
  • mixed essential cryoglobulinaemia
  • lymphoproliferative disease
