  • urinary catheterisation
  • prostatitis

  • transurethral resection of the prostate

  • Pansadoro et al. found that PSA elevated in 71% of patients with acute prostatitis, 15% of patients with chronic prostatitis, and 6% of patients with nonbacterial prostatitis
