Hepatomegaly is enlargement of the liver. It can be classified in various ways:

  • hepatomegaly: smooth generalised enlargement, with or without jaundice
  • hepatomegaly: knobbly generalised enlargement with or without jaundice
  • hepatomegaly: localised swellings
  • hepatomegaly: mild, moderate or massive

All these classifications are detailed separately.
