The following are the National Screening Committee (NSC) managed antenatal and newborn screening programmes;

• 1. Down's Syndrome Screening (now incorporated into the Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme)
• 2. Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme
• 3. NHS Screening Programme for Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Screening Programme
• 4. Screening for Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy
• 5. Newborn Blood Spot Screening Programme
• 6. Newborn Hearing Screening Programme
• 7. Newborn and 6-8 week Infant Examination
