Ichthyosis linearis circumflexa - rare, autosomal recessive, present at birth or shortly after. Diffuse erythema and scaling are associated with a polycyclic eruption with a thickened, migratory, hyperkeratotic margin. Many patients have a hair defect in which the distal hair segment is telescoped into the proximal one, forming a bamboo shoot - like joint.
