The penis is removed in entirety from the perineal membrane and ischio-pubic ramus. The urethra is brought out as a stump through an incision in the perineum behind the scrotum. The testicles and scrotum may be removed.

Micturition is not impaired but must be done sitting down.

Regular follow-up is essential to assess the inguinal nodes.
