The pulmonary features of Wegener's granulomatosis include:

  • rhinorrhoea, sinusitis or epistaxis
  • dyspnoea
  • 70% of cases have radiological evidence of pulmonary infiltration; which is most commonly one or two nodules on the chest radiograph
  • in severe disease there may be lung haemorrhage with haemoptysis and dyspnoea
