Brachycephaly
Brachycephaly means short headed.
It is applied to skulls where the maximal breadth of the skull in the coronal plain is more than 80% of the length in the sagittal plain.
Brachycephaly may occur in a number of conditions, however it is most frequently seen in Down's syndrome.
