Fusiform aneurysm
Fusiform aneurysms are elliptical or spindle-shaped dilatations of the vessel lumen that result from processes which weaken the entire circumference of the affected vessel.
They are the most common type of atherosclerotic aneurysm. Their diameter may reach 20 cm.
