Drug-induced facial flushing
Drug-induced causes include:
- morphine
- sodium monoglutamate
- nitrates
- calcium channel blockers
- TRH injection
- nicotinic acid
- alcohol may cause flushing:
- in some diabetics taking chlorpropamide
- with disulfiram
- procarbazine, oral ketoconazole, and has been reported, in one patient taking griseofulvin.
