Intracranial haemorrhage
Spontaneous:
- intracerebral - predominantly, hypertensive
- subarachnoid - predominantly, aneurysmal
- mixed intracerebral and subarachnoid - usually associated with arteriovenous malformations
Traumatic:
- extradural - arterial, usually involving the middle meningeal artery
- subdural - venous, involving cortical bridging veins
