Congenital adrenal hypoplasia
Congenital adrenal hypoplasia is a rare defect in organogenesis of the adrenal glands. It is inherited in an X-linked fashion.
The consequense is adrenocortical insufficiency.
There is thought to be an association with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
