Hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism

In hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism there is decreased secretion of the gonadotrophic hormones LH and FSH by the anterior pituitary.

There are two main causes:

  • hypopituitarism
  • selective gonadotrophic deficiency
