Clinical features
The important findings are those of isolated features of puberty, in the absence of other features.
In girls there may be features of androgenization in the abscence of oestrogenisation. Thus there is pubic and axillary hair, with clitoromegally, but with no breast development or menstruation.
In boys there may be features of puberty combined with the finding of prepubertal testes - 2 ml or less in size.
