Cerebellopontine angle syndrome

The cerebellopontine angle syndrome is caused by a space occupying lesion at the junction of the cerebellum and the pons.

Signs include:

  • ipsilateral deafness
  • nystagmus
  • reduced corneal reflex
  • Vth and VIIth nerve palsies
  • ipsilateral cerebellar signs
