External ethmoidectomy
External ethmoidectomy involves an incision between the medial canthus and the bridge of the nose, allowing access to the ethmoidal sinus.
It is performed to decompress the orbit, and also to treat chronic sinusitis or nasal polyposis by the removal of diseased mucosa.
