Investigations must include CT and/or MRI to fully delineate disease plus biopsy to provide histological diagnosis.

Most lesions will then be treated by a combination of radiotherapy and surgery. If the ethmoids are affected, a craniofacial resection may be necessary i.e. a combined approach from below and a craniotomy from above.
