Nasal bone fracture
- Fractures of the nasal bones are common. They may be sustained from the front, with depression of the nasal bones, or from the side, resulting in deviation.
- They may be:
- simple - skin and mucosa intact
- compound - cartilage and/or bone exposed
- Always consider the possibility of non-accidental injury (1).
