Nasal obstruction
Nasal obstruction is a very common symptom - experienced by most people at least once a year when they have a common cold. However, it may in some instances have a more important aetiology, in which the following features are important:
- consistently unilateral blockage; it must be assumed to be neoplastic until proven otherwise
- associated pain
- long history
- past history of nose or sinus disease
