Trials of interferon beta-1a
Interferon beta-1a is produced in cultured mammalian cells and has the same aminoacid structure and carbohydrate side-chains as the human cytokine.
Two trials have been published using interferon beta-1a in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis:
- the MSCRG study
- the PRISMS study
