Dieulafoy lesion
This is a ruptured ectatic submucosal artery.
The abnormal vessel is generally located in the stomach (1)
This lesion is an uncommon cause of a massive upper gastrointestinal bleed.
Dieulafoy lesions typically rebleed and require surgical treatment.
