Side effects
Side-effects of amphotericin include:
- anorexia
- nausea and vomiting
- diarrhoea
- epigastric pain
- headache
- anaemia
- febrile reactions
- muscle and joint pain
- disturbances in renal function and renal toxicity; including hypokalaemia and hypomagnesaemia
- cardiovascular toxicity
- neurological disorders; including diplopia, hearing loss, peripheral neuropathy, convulsions
- abnormal liver function
- blood disorders
- rash
- anaphylaxis
