Technique varies with respect to site. The principle aim is to correct the aneurysmal section of artery by a synthetic graft (often Dacron). Tube or bifurcation grafts are used for aorto-iliac and femoral aneurysms; autogenous saphenous vein grafts, for popliteal aneurysms.
