Haemorrhagic fever:

  • Lassa fever
  • Argentinian haemorrhagic fever (Junin)
  • Bolivian haemorrhagic fever (Machupo)
  • Venezuelan haemorrhagic fever (Guanarito)

Arenaviruses are spread from rodents to humans. Lassa fever is also easily transmissible from human to human without careful barrier nursing.
