Nursing staff in ATLS
Nurses are integral members of the trauma team. They should be co-ordinated by a senior lead nurse.
One nurse assists doctor 1 at the head end, one nurse assists doctors 2 and 3, and a fourth nurse co-ordinates communication and documentation.
