    • meatal blood indicative of trauma to the genitourinary tract
    • bruising
  • rectal examination:
    • blood
    • lacerations
    • sphincter tone; may be lost after a lower motor neurone injury
    • prostate high-riding; indicative of pelvic trauma
  • vaginal examination:
    • foreign bodies
    • lacerations
