Indications
Indications for hyperbaric oxygen treatment include:
- air or gas embolism
- carbon monoxide poisoning
- clostridial infections - gas gangrene
- crush injuries and traumatic, acute ischaemias
- decompression sickness
- healing of problem wounds
- osteomyelomyelitis which is refractory
- thermal burns
