  • Gaussian distribution, e.g. of serum aspirin
  • isoniazid - two populations, slow and fast acetylators. Slow acetylators respond better but exhibit more side effects.
  • pseudocholinesterase deficiency - trimodal - normal, heterozygous and homozygous
