Pharmacokinetics
- plasma concentration peaks within 2 hours after oral administration
- half-life is approximately 13 hours
- absorbed drug mainly protein bound (at least 90%)
- reboxetine is mainly metabolised by the liver
- there is evidence that elimination is slowed and systemic exposure increased, in patients with hepatic and renal impairment and in elderly patients
