Adult dose;

Initially 600mg daily in divided doses, increasing by 200mg/day at 3 day intervals to a maximum of 2.5g daily in divided doses. Maintenance dose usually 1-2g/day.

Serum half-life is 5-8 hours therefore administer tds.
