Miscellaneous side-effects of neuroleptic drugs include:

  • jaundice
  • allergic skin reactions
  • skin photosensitivity
  • cardiac arrhythmias
  • lens and corneal opacities
  • weight gain
  • amenorrhoea
  • galactorrhoea
  • rarely agranulocytosis

Substitution by other neuroleptic is recommended in cases of allergic reactions and photosensitivity. Rare sudden deaths have been reported and attributed to cardiac arrhythmias.
