Non-specific toxicities
Non specific toxicities of chemotherapeutic drugs include:
- marrow suppression
- alopecia
- nausea and vomiting
- tiredness
- loss of concentration
- infertility
- second neoplasms, eg sarcoma
- peripheral neuropathies
- impaired hearing, tinnitus
- anorexia, nausea, lethargy
- local extravasation - nasty ulceration
- conjunctivitis
- nail bed necrosis and nail dystrophy
