Aetiology
This type of glomerulonephritis is seen in:
- systemic lupus erythematosus
- polyarteritis nodosa
- Wegener's granulomatosis
- Goodpasture's syndrome
- Henoch-Schonlein purpura
- membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis
- post-infectious glomerulonephritis
- Behcet's syndrome
- malignancy - carcinoma, lymphoma
- drugs- hydralazine, penicillamine, rifampicin
