Palpable but normal liver
A liver that is palpable but normal may be observed:
- in a thin patient
- in a patient with a hyperinflated chest, for example, in emphysema or asthma
- a subdiaphragmatic collection
- a normal anatomical variant, for example, Riedel's lobe
