Anti-endomysial antibody

This is very specific and sensitive for coeliac disease and or dermatitis herpetiformis. Endomysial antibodies are of the IgA subclass.

Anti-endomysial antibody test:

  • sensitivity: >= 90%
  • specificity: >= 97%
