Diagnosis
The diagnosis of brucellosis made by:
- blood cultures (cultured for up to six weeks)
- culture of bone marrow aspirates
- serum agglutination for antibodies - the most common diagnostic method N.B. Cross reactivity with other antibodies occurs.
