Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis may present with one or more of:

  • proteinuria
  • haematuria
  • nephrotic syndrome
  • renal failure
  • hypertension

Half of patients will progress to renal failure within ten years.

Patients with mesangiocapillary glomerulonephritis type 2 may develop partial lipodystrophy.
