Examine regional lymph nodes. Some lymph node drainage is listed below:
- skin, muscles, bone of both limbs and trunk drain to the axillary and inguinal nodes
- head and neck drain to the cervical lymph nodes
- intra-abdominal structures drain to the pre- and para- aortic lymph nodes
