Cautions:-

  • reduce dose in renal impairment

Contra-indications:-

  • myasthenia gravis

Side-effects:-

  • muscle weakness
  • apnoea
  • perioral and peripheral paraesthesia
  • vertigo
  • nephrotoxicity

Routes of administration:-

  • Slow i.v. infusion
